Meet Lindsay

 

Meet Lindsay:

Lindsay is a nature loving, animal snuggling, tree hugging, adventure seeking, playful, mystic, healer, yogi mama. A lover of anything outside, connecting with earth, moving her body and meeting new people. She has been practicing yoga since she was a child and has been teaching yoga for over 12 years. Lindsay has taught for Lululemon and is currently the Yoga Ambassador for Lululemon Abbotsford in Hightstreet. She has taught up to 400 people in one class, and loves to take people on nature based adventures to find healing within, joy in their hearts and connection to themselves and Mother Nature on the deepest levels. As a reiki and access bars practitioner, Lindsay’s belief is to help people to see themselves. To provide insight and healing as tools to deepen the connection within and walk the road to living your truest, most authentic and joyous lives.

 
 

The why behind Wilde…

In our day to day we are constantly on the go and pulled in so many directions.  We experience and process so much information. Our bodies are like spongey onions, we absorb our environment and we build layers of memories, experiences, patterns,  beliefs, thoughts, emotions and so much more woven into those layers in our lifetime.  These energies can become “stuck” and create dis-ease in the body, mind and spirit leaving us feeling anxious, negative and can create more severe health issues and pain. They say emotions are like water, when they flow they are healthy, but if they become stuck they can become stagnant and toxic. 

The intention behind Wilde is to support each other on our journey. From connecting with one another outdoors to working with energy to clear, transmute, release and process our inner blockages, patterns and fog. The goal is to create healing on all levels, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. To connect with who we are inside and discover the endless amounts of potential within. To create new ways of being that allow us to live our best, healthiest, and happiest lives.

 
 

Stillness

Two of my favourite healing modalities are Reiki and Access Bars. Rooted in using source energy to create flow and promote healing to your body, mind and spirit. Generating a lightness within so that you may navigate through life with more ease than before.  Each session is unique to the person receiving the healing. We will release built up energy to allow for clarity, balance the energy centres to allow flow and allow source energy to flow to wherever is needed to provide healing on all levels. The possibilities are endless and can be as simple as feeling overall well-being to completely changing your life.


Reiki: A healing technique from Japan to promote healing, relaxation and reduce stress to the person receiving treatment.  

Access Bars: This is a body process using gentle touch on the head to help release thoughts, feelings and emotions that are keeping you “stuck”. As well as promotes healing and a feeling of overall well-being in the body, mind and soul.

Movement

Where we move our bodies is also important. On an energetic, emotional and cellular level, our surroundings affect our experience. Where ever possible we will use an outdoor setting to elevate your experience. Surrounded by the rich and vibrant colours of the earth, smelling the crisp clean air and listening to the wind flowing through the trees and grass.

Some of the movement classes available are:

Meditation classes: This is a mind-body practice directing or guiding your mind to become aware of the object of your attention. This can be your breath, specific parts of your body, a mantra etc.

Yoga: This mind-body practice uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation to promote union in the body, mind and spirit.

Hiking and Yoga: We will use our bodies to take us up mountains, along dirt paths and across the sandy shores to the most magical settings to practice our yoga.

Half Day and Full Day Hikes: Spend the day enjoying moderate to difficult hikes that will get your blood flowing. Hike locations will rotate so there is always more to discover.

Special Events: These can be a great way to reconnect with friends while moving your body or a little bit of me time.

Corporate Team Building: This is a great opportunity to bring connection to your group. In a world of zoom and living behind the computer screens, we don’t have as many opportunities to come together. Get out of your comfort zone while doing something good for your body and mind.
